An Homage to Kolo.M. (Vienna 1900)

Vienna 1900 series is an homage to famous artists who helped shaping the Viennese Sezession movement, around 1900,  known the world over as ART NOUVEAU or Jugenstil,. 
On the cuffs' mechanism, a small black onyx can be found; another design detail coming straight from that age. 

The chess-board pattern from this cuff is finely made from mother-of-pearl in combination with black onyx. The pattern itself is reminiscent to one of the most versatile artist and designer from this time, himself co-founder of the Wiener Werkstätte with his pal, Josef H.
